The Giffre Valley (where the resorts of Samoens, Morillon and Sixt) are located can be reached by road in about 8 hours from the Northern coast ferry ports (Calais/Dunkerque) For arriving by air the resorts are about a one hour drive from Geneva airports and within driving range of Chambery, Grenoble and Lyon airports.

Please note that it is the law in Haute Savoie and other surrounding departments that vehicles must be equipped with proper Winter tyres or carry suitable snow chains / socks between 1 November and 31 March.
