Samoens

La Reposette – A popular choice for excellent food, a crackling log fire, and a welcoming family atmosphere. Situated at the base of the Grand Cret piste in Vercland, it’s the ideal place to grab a morning coffee or enjoy some après-ski refreshments. Easily accessible for non-skiers.

Grand Cret – Grand Cret provides stunning views and superb cuisine amidst nature. In winter, it’s easily accessible on skis or snowboard from the ‘Grand Cret’ piste, which descends from Samoens 1600 to Vercland.

La Luge a Teran – One of our personal favourites. Nestled on the blue Dahu piste, La Luge a Teran offers a cosy ambiance, a diverse menu, and the warmth of a log burner in an authentic chalet where you can taste traditional dishes and Savoyard specialties.

Lou Caboëns – Indulge in delectable cuisine while enjoying breathtaking views of the Samoens valley through large windows or on the sunny terrace. Situated just behind the top station of the Grand Massif Express gondola, it’s the perfect spot for post-ski refreshments.Easily accessible for non-skiers

Au Pré d’Oscar – This self-service restaurant with a bar serves all your favourite dishes. Its expansive terrace provides spectacular views and hosts fantastic après-ski sessions with DJs. Easily accessible for non-skiers

Le Montana 1842 – With a rustic atmosphere, a log burner, and panoramic views from its elevated location on the edge of the red Marmotte piste, Le Montana 1842 is a Swiss-style restaurant that caters to cheese lovers.

Le Croc Blanc – A panoramic terrace at the arrival of the Tête des Saix chairlift at an altitude of 2100 m in the heart of the ski area (or hiking areas in summer), bar, fast food.

Restaurant L’Aero – Tucked away in the serene corner of the Samoens 1600 plateau, Restaurant L’Aero offers a delightful menu and stunning views. The simple yet delicious offerings are complemented by a selection of cocktails. Easily accessible for non-skiers

Le 45,8″ – Conveniently located directly opposite the Vercland gondola at Samoens 1600, Le 45,8″ offers local favourites like potato beignets, diots, raclette, BBQ, as well as pizzas, local wine, and beer. Stop by for a drink, enjoy the fantastic views and sunshine from the outdoor seating area, and listen to live music. Easily accessible for non-skiers

Le 1600 Cafe – Positioned across from the Grand Massif Express and the nursery slopes of Samoens 1600, this cafe is ideally situated. It offers snacks, hot and cold drinks, and a sunny outdoor seating area with excellent views over the Samoens pistes.

La Gamelle – Open in both winter and summer, this snack bar offers breakfast, lunch, drinks, and coffee. Located opposite the top of the Vercland cable car, it’s the perfect place for a quick pre or post ski bite.. Easily accessible for non-skiers.

Morillon

Le Chalet de Clair
Mountain restaurant/bar at the top of the Sairon chairlift. Burgers, dish of the day, regional specialties. Great hot chocolates. Sun terrace. Accessible to non-skiers although please note they will need to take the Sairon chairlift.

L’Igloo
Another of our favourites, L’Igloo promises excellent and reasonably priced cuisine, along with friendly service. Its extensive terrace offers fantastic views. On the Marvel piste at the top of the Bergin chairlift

La Combe
A family-friendly restaurant with a varied menu,situated at the bottom of the Sairon chairlift, easily accessible for non-skiers.

Flaine

L’Epicea – One of our favourites, L’Epicea is a great all round destination for simple yet scrumptious fare to cater for everyone’s tastes served with a side of friendly and efficient service. Situated along the picturesque tree-lined Epicea piste, it offers a delightful dining experience.

La Pente á Joules – Our choice for an end of day beer before making the journey back over to Samoens Great voice of beers, lively sunny terrace and warm and welcoming service, and immerse yourself in a vibrant ambiance at La Pente á Joules.Situated on Epicea piste

Le Bissac – On the beginner piste a short distance from the Flaine Foret entrance. Popular stop off/meeting point. Good service and a great terrace. Be aware it has been known for skis to very occasionally disappear from outside here. Put them where you can see them. (or our trick is to not leave them in a pair)

Le Blanchot – Nestled along one of the most exhilarating runs in the Grand Massif, the Serpentine, Le Blanchot offers a prime spot for skiers and snowboarders. Restaurant and snack bar

Le Desert Blanc – Perched at the summit of the Grandes Platières, Le Desert Blanc boasts unparalleled views of Mont Blanc.
