IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME AT THE CHALET IT IS BEST TO WALK DOWN THE DRIVEWAY FIRST AND CHECK YOU ARE COMFORTABLE GETTING YOUR CAR IN AND OUT. YOU MUST PARK WELL DOWN THE DRIVEWAY PAST THE NEIGHBOURS HOUSE. YOU MUST NOT PARK BLOCKING HER FROM GETTING HER CAR IN AND OUT OF HER DRIVEWAY.

Make sure hot water is turned on on the control panel near front foor, guests often turn it off, it should say ‘Eau chaude marche’

Check TVS, remote controls, wifi, light bulbs, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors
Spot clean all windows including Velux if needed
Clean lightswitches if dirty

OUTSIDE
Check garden and decking area clean – no cigarette butts, damages

Mark or Vincent will come to clean the pool and cover but the cleaning team need to clean the surrounding area
Check BBQ and tools. Check charcoal and fire lighters – (summer)

BATHROOMS

Take apart shower traps, remove hair, scrub dirt
Wipe towel rail – each part collects dust
Put bath mat, hand towel, toilet paper
Clean the toilet brush and holder.
Fill hand soaps

LOUNGE

Empty fireplace ash, clean glass (key hanging on column)
Bring logs in to fill gap under fire (all year round)
Check down sofas, vacuum under sofas (they are really heavy but lots of guests move them around for a better layout so please do your best with it)
Check kindling, fire lighters, matches (winter)

KITCHEN
Clean oven, fridge, coffee machines, microwave, toaster
Empty/clean dishwasher. Check no food in trap
Put tea towels, oven glove, sponge
Check dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, general cleaner
Clean bin and put in new bag
Clean inside every cupboard and drawer – remove all open or perishable foods
Clean fridge microwave, toaster and coffee machine
Wipe work top and front of cupboards/appliances

BEDROOMS
Make all the beds (not including sofa beds or pull out beds)
All beds should have clean pillow and mattress protectors, if any have stains change them
All pillows and duvets should be clean, if there are stains change them
1 large towel per person and 1 hand towel in every bathroom. If cot is used leave towels for the baby
Summer only, also leave 1 pool towel per person, including children
Vacuum under all beds

Empty fluff from tumble dryer
