PARKING – DIRECTIONS BELOW If you have a little car you can just about do a 3 point turn, otherwise you have to reverse out the (long) driveway. STEEP DROP – DO NOT FALL OVER THE SIDE. If you are not a confident driver park at Tiffanie and walk up the hill.

Turn up the hill on the left before you get to the village, turn right onto the gravel track, there is a Mountain People sign at the end of the road. Park at the end of the gravel track in the little pull in on the right, then walk up the steep grassy hill, the chalet is straight ahead, the front door is up the steps next to the hot tub. There is a little apartment downstairs, a very nice English couple Donna and Ian rent it on long term let from the same owner

Check if baby items are needed if so there is 1 set available, stored in the boiler room (off the kitchen). Clean high chairs before and after each use. Ensure cots are clean, wipe off stains. Wipe baby bath
Check Sonos, TVS, remote controls and wifi are working. There are 2 internet connections, one 4g and one ADSL please check both work.
Check all light bulbs work
Test smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors (3, one near fire, one near boiler, one near oven)
Spot clean all windows including Velux if needed
Clean lightswitches if dirty

OUTSIDE
Check patio area clean – no cigarette butts, damages etc
Check hot tub is clean and at temperature (between 36 and 40 is fine) and that matting around is clean and free from leaves
Check BBQ and tools. Check charcoal and fire lighters – (summer)

HALLWAY
Vacuum all rugs and doormats
Dust corners/beams for cobwebs – use long feather duster
Leave 1 hot tub towels per person in the basket (the stripey towels)

BATHROOMS
Never use metal scourers.
Check inside of cupboards and drawers
Clean all mirrors
Take apart shower traps, remove hair and scrub dirt
Scrub and polish bath, sink and taps
Clean shower door and tray
Clean toothbrush mug and soap dishes
Wipe towel rail – each part collects dust
Wipe down walls / tiles
Ensure there is a bathmat and a hand towel
Check full bottle of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand wash, bottles are clean,undamaged, and displayed nicely
Clean toilet, inside, seat and around base. If needed, use bleach to remove yellow spots.
Clean the toilet brush and holder. Leave a little but of gel wc in the holder
Empty bin, make sure there is a bin bag
3 toilet rolls per bathroom. New rolls only, no opened rolls
Vacuum/mop floor

LOUNGE
Empty fireplace ash
Clean fireplace glass
Bring logs in to fill basket (all year round)
Clean tv screen – cloth only no product
Check down sofas, vacuum under sofas
Check cushions are clean, if not remove for cleaning
Wipe furniture, shelves and pictures
Clean coffee tables including shelf underneath
Check inside all cupboards and drawers
Clean dining table and all table mats/coasters
Vacuum dining chairs, wipe any stains
Check inside foot stool is neat
Large rugs: vacuum under and around edges well
Dust corners/beams for cobwebs – use long feather duster
Check kindling, fire lighters, matches (winter)
vacuum/mop floor
Check fondue and raclette sets are clean, complete and undamaged and that they have necessary extension leads
Check balcony is clean

KITCHEN
Welcome items
Saucisson on board with knife, wine and chocolate
Milk and juice in fridge
Any other items put away
Ovens fully cleaned, hob cleaned with light on above (on extractor fan)
Wipe extractor fan
Clean sink, bleach off any stains
Empty/clean dishwasher. Check no food in trap
Leave 4 tea towels, clean oven gloves and new sponge neatly
Check there are supplies of – dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, general cleaner, kitchen roll
Clean bin and put in new bag
Clean inside every cupboard and drawer – remove all open or perishable foods
Clean microwave, toaster and coffee machine
Wipe work top and front of cupboards/appliances
Empty and clean fridge
Clean table and seats, wipe any stains off cushions
Check plenty of fondue gel, kitchen foil, baking paper and cling film in kitchen

Boiler room – Check washer and dryer empty – Empty fluff from tumble dryer

BEDROOMS
All beds should have clean pillow and mattress protectors
2 pillows per person
Dress beds properly with cushions/throws
Large towel per person. If cot is used leave towels for the baby
Check in all drawers and cupboards, vacuum if required
Vacuum under all beds
Clean drawers under bunk beds
Wipe furniture, shelves and pictures
Empty all bins
